Feeding Notes
Monitor body condition: spine should be rounded (not visible), sides should be smooth without visible ribs. Adjust portions and frequency based on individual needs.
Feeding frequency varies by species: ball pythons and blood pythons naturally eat less frequently than corn snakes, rat snakes, and king snakes.
Growing juveniles need more frequent feeding than adults. Breeding females and gravid snakes also require additional energy beyond maintenance levels.
